myVoice is Rio Tinto’s confidential reporting programme.

myVoice Privacy notice

By submitting your report to myVoice, you consent to Rio Tinto processing your data, including potentially sensitive data that you provide such as medical, financial, race, or national origin information, for the legitimate interests of investigating and addressing your complaint. You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time. 

If you reside in Europe, the European Economic Area, or Serbia, Rio Tinto relies on the legitimate business interest of investigating and resolving your complaint as its legal basis for data processing. 

Your data will be collected by Convercent, which provides the myVoice reporting application and hotline, and then transferred to the Rio Tinto Business Conduct Office. The data may be further transferred (including internationally) inside of Rio and externally with investigators who shall be bound by confidentiality and data privacy provisions in their contracts. Your data will be deleted after the purpose for its collection has been accomplished. 

Under applicable local privacy legislation and Rio Tinto Data Privacy Standard (available from https://www.riotinto.com/sustainability/policies) you have data privacy rights, including the right to seek access to or rectification of records containing your personal data, to be provided with information regarding data processing, or to revoke processing consent.
